MANGO NINE

The Mango Nine is Nilai Spring’s most interesting among the three nines. The 3054-meter layout offers golfers three outstanding holes –Nos. 1,6 and 9 –as it winds through a landscape of elevation changes.

HOLE 1 PAR 5

This is a tough starting hole constructed with OB on the left  of the fairway. From elevated tees, golfers need a big drive to help cut into the 510 metres of real estate that lies ahead. Golfers must be accurate on their second and third shots as the fairway narrows into the last 300 metres. Mounds surrounding the green complicate chipping for those who miss the green with their approach shots. Par is a very good score on this devilish opener.

HOLE 2 PAR 4

The downhill nature of this Dogleg left hole helps golfers in their quest for par. A sole sand bunker rests at the bend of the dogleg, so aim for the right centre of the fairway on the drive. A Monsoon drain awaits wayward shots on extreme right.

HOLE 3 PAR 3

Three sand bunkers add interest on this uphill par 3. The hole is longer by a mere 2 metres over No.6. A deceptive hole by mere vision. Choice of club is important.

HOLE 4 PAR 4

Three grass mounds and a long narrow sand bunker define the right portion of the drive’s landing area. Golfers attempting to avoid these hazards by staying left have a chance of finding OB which lines the fairway’s left side.

HOLE 5 PAR 4

The fairway for this hole rambles slightly downhill for all of its 368 metres. A fairway sand bunker is again of concern for golfers but it is on the left side rather than on the right as on the 4th hole. Drives or approach shots to the green that stray right can result in a penalty stroke as a water drainage canal runs the length of the hole.

HOLE 6 PAR 3

The first of Nilai Springs’ two Signature holes is this glamorous par 3. At 154 metres, the tee shot is manageable with a mid-iron or lofted fairway wood. Golfers who miss the green will be happy to find sand bunkers that flank the putting surface rather than the giant monsoon drain in front.

HOLE 7 PAR 5

Water also plays a predominant role on this hole, a straight par 5 that starts with a drive over water to a narrow fairway and ends with a deep green that is encircled by three bunkers. Players will find three more sand bunkers and water down the left side on this hole as they advance their ball forward.

HOLE 8 PAR 4

Players should look to make birdie or par on this hole before facing the tough 9th. A good drive will put golfers in range for a short approach to a narrow and deep putting surface. Tees set below the fairway, however, make the task just a little bit more challenging.

HOLE 9 PAR 4 (SIGNATURE HOLE)

Water lines the left side. The green is elevated. The fairway is narrow for the first 200 metres. All of the aforementioned statements this uphill hold a true test of golf. Add three towering mature mango trees to the middle of the fairway 190 metres from the tees-and one has the most interesting hole at Nilai Springs. From the tee area, golfers have a complete view of this index one hole. And the picture it presents is one of intimidation. The best way for conservative golfers to play this hole is an iron from the tees to the left portion of the fairway short of the trees, followed by a lay-up second shot to the edge of the fairway above the water that fronts a good portion of the green. Aim for three –on and hope for a one putt to record a par. This is a good hole that will frustrate some players while thrilling others.

Thoughts do not ever come to mind in such a process in which you would like cialis for sale decided all that is needed at the instant. Solve all at once and it’s not just to put it gently.
